- Note that punctuation is important for formal writing.
- Commas, periods, and semi-colons
- Activity on grammar
- Freewrite and imagery. Imagine a place and describe it. Try to use two commas and two semi-colons effectively. For inspiration, mix and match one of the words below:
- Place
- Forest
- Mall
- Home
- Tone
- Eerie
- Joyful
- Peaceful
- Revisiting your paragraph project, and getting started.
- Choose a direction
- Begin writing down possible examples to explore from the novel
- For tomorrow come to class with a clear sense of direction for your paragraph
- For tomorrow, read chapters 6-8
