 Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 8

• Start of day freewrite
• Checking in
• Debrief on class feedback
• Good:
• Freewrites
• Discussion
• Pace (could be slower)
• Can improve:
• More time for discussions (especially with partners)
• More creative work
• More cooperative work
• More time during quizzes
• Presentations seem to be a mixed reaction from folks
• Additional thoughts?

• Peer editing instructions
• Look for: spelling, commas, use of I/you/we, and essay structure
• Be sure to mark up the essay with a unique colour, and write your name somewhere
• Finish with a "compliment sandwich"
