Feb 1, 2022

Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 12

  • Welcome to the course! Take some time to open up the blog (www.kitsmclean.blogspot.com) and explore the Assignment Pages above
  • Who are you?
    • Take a blank piece of paper, fold it in three, and write your name in BIG BLOCK LETTERS. Please note: use the name you'd like me to use, not necessarily your legal name
    • Draw something that interests you - like a symbol for a sport you like, or art you practice, or anything I can ask you about
    • Write the pronouns you use
    • On the back, write down a message for me, letting me know any information I may need to know. For example:
      • Are your pronouns different at school than at home?
      • Do you deal with any particular anxieties I should know about?
      • Are there any hopes and fears you want to convey?
  • Who am I?
    • How did I get where I am?
    • How will I get where I'm going?
  • Activity - questions for each other
  • Mr. McLean's Policies and Expectations and Grading Guidelines
  • Thoughts on the course Calendar
