 Hello! Sorry I can't be there today again! Today will be time to work. Here's what you can focus on:

• Please note: the last day to hand in any missing assignments is this Friday, January 21st. If they're handed in by then, I can promise they'll count towards your final report card. If you're missing anything, this is your first priority.
• The due date for the Independent Novel Assignment has been pushed back from Wednesday the 19th to Thursday the 20th. You may use this time to develop your response.
• The speeches will start next week on Tuesday, January 25th. Your goal is to have a rough draft complete by Monday, so that you can spend Monday practicing it.
