 Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 12

  • Checking in
  • Small bureaucratic detail: I've made course expectations documents. If you'd like a print out, let me know!
  • Where are we at with P1?
  • Review of P1 details and resources
  • Time for peer review (try to use different colours to make it apparent) 
    • Look for vocabulary, punctuation, and spelling errors
    • Look for effective use of structure
    • Finish with a compliment sandwich (something nice, a suggestion, something nice)
  • Launching P2, P3, and Q2 (yay!)
    • We're entering a phase where I increasingly take more of a backseat
  • Creating student order of presentations
  • Distributing the novel
  • Introducing the novel
    • How do we feel about content warnings?
  • For Monday, read:
    • Chapters 1 and 2 of The Kite Runner
    • Chapter 1 of Great Gatsby
  • Fo Tuesday, finish your P1 (either physical copy, or on Teams)
