Hello! Here's what we're up to today:
English 12
- Checking in
- Recapping last class
- Student presentation(s)
- Teacher notes
- Freewrite
- Returning Q1. Remember:
- As is sometimes the case, some of you will be disappointed, and I respect the importance of grades to you, so recall some rights you have:
- You have the right to challenge the mark
- You have the right to redo. In this case, you'll need to come in during FIT time, and I'll give you a new question, either on the same text or literary term, and you can try again.
- In general, note that in English, we take awhile to get going in the term, and then we do most of our work in the middle of the course, and then wind down. As we head into this busy period, it's important to put the effort into rewrites and improving skills now, if that's a priority for you. Otherwise, catching up later can feel overwhelming.
- Checking in on A3
- Reminder to hand in A1
- No reading for tomorrow. We'll spend some time getting into punctuation!
- As a heads up: I'm going to do my best to mark P1 before the break, but given the speed at which I've marked other things, I'm skeptical. I'll keep you posted, but it may need to wait until after Spring Break.

- Recapping details of the project, and coming back to a couple of points on counter-narratives.
- Time to work on your reflection, which is due tomorrow. Come prepared to talk about it as a class.
