Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

- Time to work on your essay. Your goal is to have the plan and the introduction complete by tomorrow's lesson. Remember to check the Assignment Page for instructions, and the Lesson Notes document for an example of the plan and the introduction.
EFP 10
- For this upcoming unit, we'll be diving into creative writing. In this spirit, your task today is to practice imagery, which is writing that connects to the five senses: sight, smell, taste, touch, sound.
- Step one: get into groups of two or three.
- Step two: pick the name of a restaurant somewhere far away. This might be on this planet, or not.
- Step three: individually, with a timer on for ten minutes, describe how each of you imagine that place. Describe each of the five senses, relying on adjectives.
- Step four: when it's finished, compare notes. Save what you wrote so that you can show Mr. McLean tomorrow.
- With the remaining time, read ahead in Terra Nullius. You should have chapter 1 read by tomorrow.
