Hello! Here's what we're up to today:
- Checking in
- (AM: Tomorrow, and for the rest of the semester, we'll be in room 214)
- Review of Monday
- Reviewing the assignment details
- Reminder of rubric
- I've created an assignment on Teams. The purpose of this will be for you to be able to keep track of your marks efficiently. It's also a place where I will sometimes type out your feedback, rather than use my own messy writing. Here's how the marks translate:
- 6 - Extending
- 5 - Proficient
- 4 - Developing
- 3 - Emerging
- Lesson on narrative writing
- Choose a tense and stay with it
- Dive right into the action
- Add descriptive language (two adjectives per noun, if in doubt)
- While the prompt does not need to be in the story itself, the connection to the prompt should be clear
- Time to check in with each person
- Freewrite
- Tomorrow, we'll do the in-class assignment!
