Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

• Checking in
• Course descriptions for English 12
• The blog and the assignment page (please take a moment to bookmark this website, and note the difference between the web and mobile version)
• Your list - activity to brainstorm what we should do
• The syllabus, and the plan
• Mr. McLean's policies
• Take a break!
• Literary Terms sheet, and quizzes
• Please note: I usually use quizzes, instead of worksheets, to check students' knowledge of texts, and I tend to use literary terms as a tool to analyse those texts. Any quiz will allow one page (double sided) of notes, so I encourage you to start taking notes now.
• Freewrite
• Checking in on the Serial Project - for next class, complete your self assessment. 
• Offer yourself a mark on each of the categories (6 points each)
• Give yourself a total mark (36 points total)
• Justify your mark on the back of the page with a short response
• Prepare to meet with me for five minutes next class to justify your work.
