Hello! Here's what we're up to today:
- Checking in
- Time to prepare for in-class write

- Project 3 Peer editing
- Note: I've created a new channel on Teams, in case people wanted to post theirs and offer thoughts over the weekend.
- Get feedback from three people (offer as many times as you can!)
- Look for:
- Can the characters be made more complex?
- Can a richer atmosphere be created?
- Is it a dystopia?
- Does a character have to make a decision?
- Are there spelling or grammatical errors?
- Project 4 details. By Monday, choose a book to read.
- Textbook return

- Note: this is a beautiful, sad story, with a different tone than The Giver. It's worthy of a trigger warning: there are some troubling passages.
- Reminder of online weekly schedule. I'll be in room 209 (for returning textbooks, and picking up your marked paragraphs)
- Monday - a video is posted in the morning. Students are expected to "Check in" and respond to a discussion question.
- Tuesday - Online lesson from 11-1130

- Homework
- Complete Project 3 by Monday at 3pm.
- Choose a novel for Project 4
- Download Monday's lesson, and respond to "Check in" and "Discussion"
- Return textbooks
- Good luck as you switch back to your other class!
