- For any student scheduled to complete your presentation, we'll do them on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience!
- Time to put the finishing touches on your Counternarrative project (A7).
- Hand in your A7, either online or in person. Please don't forgot to include your individual reflection questions along with it.
- Time to begin a brainstorm for your A8 (Essay on Hamilton), which we'll be spending next week completing. By Monday, please have ready the answer to these questions:
- What question do you want to ask yourself about the musical?
- What is your answer to that question?
- What are six specific quotes from the musical that help answer that question?
- If anyone would like a copy of The Marrow Thieves, you can take one from the stack by the other books. We start reading next week, on Friday (chapters 1 and 2)

- For the student presentation to start today, it will be delayed until Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience! Monday's scheduled presentation will get pushed to Tuesday.
- You may use the majority of this class time for either:
- Time to work on your Strangers essay (Assignment 9). The due date is now Tuesday, so that I can show you on Monday how to do in-text citation and a Works Cited.
- Time to read the novel Dry
- For the last fifteen minutes of the class, in an individual written response of roughly 10 sentences, expand on our discussion question from yesterday: Where did your breakfast come from? Use the internet (if possible) to try your best to locate the source of each part of your breakfast, and write it down. Feel free to take guesses.
